SafeStorage Accelerates National Expansion with Strong Financials, Tech Innovations, and Customer-Centric Services
SafeStorage, the
largest self-storage company in India, has rapidly grown its operations to over
12,000 storage units operating in more than 20 warehouses across major cities
such as Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai, Delhi, Noida, and
Gurugram. In FY 2022–2023, they were able to register a revenue of ₹33 crores
which has grown consistently and provides evidence of the company's positive
market positioning. In response to the growing demand for flexible storage
solutions, in light of increasing urban rental prices, SafeStorage has
developed tech driven services to support its services such as AI and machine
learning models to manage warehouse utilization with live booking schedules
reducing average booking times from three minutes down to 30 seconds. Their
customer service initiatives include video demos, live footage of their
warehouses, and even a comprehensive evaluation of the risks associated with
the unit/storage which includes ensuring the construction meets building codes
to avoid flooding, using silica gel pouches to protect the storage items, and a
thorough cleaning prior to storage. In addition to their expansion into
Coimbatore, SafeStorage will be a solution for the storage needs of customers,
including on-demand storage solutions for businesses, regardless of excess
demand, at a reasonable cost across India.
